I had “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benetar pop into my head today. This video is awesome. Basically “Pat” runs away from home because of an argument with her pops (what was up with fathers in the 1980s anyway, am I right Cyndi Lauper?).  Anyway, “Pat” hits the streets, and is driven to work in a modern-ish day brothel.

She can’t take the way the women are being treated there – she stands up for womens’ rights (“Heartache to heartache, we stand”) and shimmy fighting breaks out. Montage… montage… eye shadow.
